Based on different working principles, there are two forms of desander: cyclone desander and filter desander.

Cyclone Desander

Working principle:

Cyclone desander is made according to the principle of the solid particles in the fluid are being screened at the time of rotation. The cyclone and filtration become a whole, achieve the removal of desanding and liqiud separation in the field of oil treatment. Afterthe oil flow tangential entry from the inlet to the device with a certain pressure, produce strong rotational motion, because of different density of sand and oil, in the action of centrifugal force, centripetal force, buoyancy force and drag force the low density oil rises, then discharge from the oil outlet density large sand will be the sink to the sand bin. Achieve the purpose of desanding.

Features:

The filter desander

Specification:

The filter desander remove solid particles with a filter screen, and the filtered fluid is discharged through the annulus between the filter screen and desander cylinder. The system uses different grades of reinforced filters to filter solid particles. The strainer is composed of different grades of strainer cylinder and reinforced outer layer. The strainer is placed in a pressure- resistant working cylinder to provide more reliable structural support.

The skid-mounted filter desander is a double working cylinder. The upper and lower reaches of the desander adopts double isolation valves, and is equipped with a complete conversion manifold and bypass system. The isolation valve adopts gate valve, and two working cylinders work in turn when using, and the sand removal is blocked by the filter screen. Different levels of filters are suitable for different sizes of solid particles. An external differential pressure gauge indicates the working condition of the strainer. When the solid phase of one working cylinder needs to be removed, the fluid only needs to be poured into another working cylinder, and the filter assembly in the working cylinder is lifted out for cleaning by the lifting device on the skid body. The filter mesh can be reused.
